Stephen Shallo
Biography
Stephen Shallo joined the Village of Bronxville in July 2019 as Chief of Staff & Assistant to the Village Administrator. In this role, Stephen assists in managing the overall administration of the Village government with a primary focus on management of the Department of Public Works, Department of Recreation, and Parking Enforcement.Prior to joining the Village of Bronxville, Stephen worked for the City of New York for 12 years serving within the New York County District Attorneys Office, Office of the Mayor, and Department of Small Business Services. Throughout Stephens tenure in public service he has developed enduring relationships with private and public partners; he has worked closely with them to understand their concerns, solicit data, and build strategies to improve a variety of services and programs.Stephen is active in our Blue Hen community serving as President of the New York City Alumni Club from 2008 through 2013. Stephen continues to volunteer with the University of Delaware Alumni Association and currently serves on the Executive Committee. In addition, Stephen is an active member with the Boy Scouts of America, the Association for a Better New York, the Municipal Administrators Association of Greater New York, and the New York State City/County Management Association. In his spare time, Stephen works with young people with autism serving as a mentor, companion, and guide. ?
