April Arnold
Biography
April Arnold is a senior nonproliferation adviser at Culmen International, supporting the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Smuggling Detection & Deterrence. Her previous experience includes working for contractors supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Department of the Navy and the Department of the Army on nearly a dozen arms control agreements. She was a policy volunteer for the Biden-Harris Presidential campaign in 2020 and a founding co-chair for Foreign Policy for America’s Next Generation Defense & Intelligence Working Group. She also is a 2021 Nuclear Scholar for the Project on Nuclear Issues at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a 2021-2022 Board Fellow for Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and a Pacific Forum Young Leader. April received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Delaware and is pursuing her Master of Arts in Sustainable Energy at Johns Hopkins University.
