Biography

Lauren Turenchalk is a Government Affairs Associate at CoreWeave, an AI cloud computing company that specializes in providing graphics-processing unit infrastructure to power AI workloads. The company operates data centers across the US and Europe for companies to train their AI models, run machine learning tasks, and process complex data. In this role, Lauren focuses on federal and state AI, energy, and technology legislation affecting the company.

Previously, Lauren was a Legislative Analyst at Bloomberg Government in Washington, DC. She was responsible for analyzing federal legislation focused on tax, labor, technology, and agriculture policies. She wrote legislative summaries and news articles published across the Bloomberg Government, Law, and Tax websites.

Lauren began her career as a Legislative Analyst in the New York City office of Cozen O?Connor Public Strategies, a bipartisan lobbying firm, where she focused on New York State and City legislation affecting clients.

In 2020, Lauren graduated from the University of Delaware where she doubled-majored in Political Science and History. She interned for Senator Charles Schumer’s legislative office in Washington, D.C., during the summer of 2019 and his D.C. press office remotely after she graduated. Additionally, she spent time as both a campaign intern and legislative intern for Senator Thomas Carper’s offices in Delaware. One of Lauren’s favorite memories from her time at UD was when she studied abroad in Athens, Greece, during the winter session.
