Biography
Andrew is a 2015 graduate of the University of Delaware, where he double- majored in international relations and public policy. While at UD, he served as a public administration fellow at the School of Public Policy and Administration, completing research on mixed-use development. In the spring of 2015, he completed a senior thesis on the long-term redevelopment of Tysons, VA. He is currently a legislative specialist in the government and regulatory affairs business unit at Clark Hill PLC in Washington, D.C. In his role, he advises public and private sector clients on advocacy strategies and leverages relationships in the federal government to help them achieve their goals. After graduating from UD, Andrew spent almost six years working in the United States Senate. He most recently served on the legislative staff for U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (TX), handling Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation issues, as well as the energy portfolio. Hes particularly passionate about the regulation of emerging technologies.
In May 2020, Andrew graduated from George Washington Universitys Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration with a Master of Public Administration degree. While a part-time student at GW, Andrew was elected as the GW representative of the Graduate Public Affairs Council and served as an editor for the peer-reviewed and student- run policy journal Policy Perspectives. Andrew is a Virginia native and currently lives in Arlington, Virginia.
